Vitamin Store beside GNC?
Someone told me there is another store to buy protein powder, etc. that is as good or better than GNC. I forgot the name and can't look it up online without that for locations. And... I forgot who gave me the name. Luckily I remember my own name. So far.

Mary I'm glad you posted this. I am looking for opinions on protien powder that can be mixed with water or put in liquid other than milk. I have tried looking on GNC's website and have had problems with the website. I think there is some unflavored kind which would be good. Sorry to piggyback your thread!! It was nice to meet you on Saturday. You are moving pretty good for just having had surgery!!

A great source to buy samples of a variety of protein powders to try before you buy a whole tub is vitalady.com. She is also a great provider for the dry vitamins that we need as WLS patients. I would go there and order a variety of samples to see which ones you like the best before you invest in a whole tub of something you do not like.

I'm guessing it's Vitamin Shoppe you were thinking of, but just an f.y.i. - you can buy Unjury at some hospital pharmacies, so if you call ahead to one in your area, you may find Unjury there locally.
If it's another brand or vitamins you need, I highly recommend www.vitalady.com! Michelle is excellent, and a member here on OH as well. Lives the life post op RNY, too. Wealth of knowledge.
