Big WOW Moment !!!
Normally I lurk, but I really wanted to post some good news. I had my RNY on January 15th and as of today I am down 119 pounds. I am soooooo not an exerciser, but have been walking and getting in shape for a half marathon that I actually COMPLETED yesterday in Des Moines. Granted, I walked it (didn't run) but it was best feeling I've ever had. There's no way that I could have done that a year ago. I've all ready made plans to do it again next year in Fargo, and maybe even (gasp) run a 5K! This website has been a constant source of support for me the past 9 months, and I am so thankful for everyone's posts. Yeah us!!!!

Yay you! Rock on! Great goal for next year, too. Best of luck with that one, too. I am sure you will do great. Congratulations!

Nearly 120 pounds is amazing! I'm with ya on the exercise thing... but just like getting our water and protein in, walking and any type of moving are good and every little bit helps.
One of my goals is to do a 5k next fall with my sister who has always been thin and in shape. I don't even care if I run the first one... I just want to FINISH! Best of luck on your completion of the HALF!
