Really starting to feel good.
Here I am a week and a half out of surgery and I'm feeling great. I get a little better each day. Still a little sore around the incision port site, but otherwise I have no complaints at all.
I had my first post-op apt today, I gained a few pounds but the nurse wasn't too worried she said it's common to happen and that most people are still carrying around water weight from all the fluids they pump into you at the hospital.

Yup, that's not at all uncommon. I had a little extra work done and ended up spending 3 nights in the hospital. At my post-op 6 days out, I was NINETEEN FREAKING POUNDS up from my surgery weight! Talk about a shocker - But at my one month I was down something like 32, so NOT TO WORRY!!!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
We had our surgery done on the same day and I too am feeling good. Glad to hear you are doing good also. I went into work for 3/4 of a day today - no problems. I will be going back on Monday and have a job that I can stay as long as I want so that helps. Oh at my check up I think I was up a couple of pounds too so don't worry I think that is normal.

Good for you, Gooney! You will lose that fluid really soon. Keep on following the rules and take it easy. It gets easier all the time!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...
