I have my surgery date!

Well I'm scheduled......December 10th! I found out my surgery date as I was watching my son ride on the Dumbo ride at Disney World. I say watching as I was afraid I was too big to ride with him (I'm sure I'm not but it was my first thought when I saw the ride), how ironic. Well hopefully that will be the last time one of those thoughts come into my head. Hopefully next trip I will be racing to the front of the line with him!

I'm excited and freaking out all the same. This has happened fast! I will be coming back to MN tomorrow and starting my two week liquid diet as well. I'll be at coffee in Eagan on Saturday for those of you who are close come by!

I'm soooo happy for you to have a surgery date!!

I had the same emotions as you, both excited & a bit scared. It's gotta be pretty normal to have mixed emotions...you're making a big change!! Only a couple more weeks & you're big day will be here!

Hope the liquid diet goes ok; keep me posted on things go up until the surgery! I may be there on Saturday (in Eagan). I'll see how I'm feeling & if I'm feeling up to it I'll for sure stop up there!

Congratulations! I know how you feel, I'm scheduled 28 Dec and I'm a mix of emotions. But mostly just ready to go. We too are going to Disney World 2nd wk in Dec! Have a great trip and good luck!

OMG... in 2 weeks. I am so extremely happy for you. YAH!!! It is normal to feel nervous, this is going to be a new beginning for you. I cant stop smiling for you.! Just remember you have an excellent surgical team and you are going to do great.

I would love to come to coffee on Saturday, but I have one more week before I can drive again. Doctors orders! We will meet up one of these times. Congrats Kristy!!!!
