NC Lap RNY Dr?

I am seeking a dr. nearest to Winston-Salem/Greensboro as possible, but if there is a good dr. further I will go! Anyone have any good recommendations? I have already ruled Dr. Rutledge, out - thank you. I also got burnt by Dr. Volenger's office in Charlotte. My surgery would have been done by now, but for the office folks not getting my paperwork done. All other tests were completed and paid for since November. Oh, well... That's another story. It's a wonderful new year, so I will find another Lap RNY dr and try again! Thanks all Jody

Hi Jody, I had my RNY at Duke weight loss surgery center in Durham But I have also heard good things about a Dr. Gonzolas I think his name is in W.S. high point area not sure where but you can find him on this sights find doc area. Good luck , Bill

Lea, I strongly agree with helping each other and supporting each others group. I feel there is never to many leaders or groups. Each group is not for everyone. Dear Jody, I am having lap rny jan. 13 in Nc Baptist-Wake Forrest in Win-Sal by Dr. Adolpho Fernandez(fuzz) and he is wonderful. I would highly recommend him. Best of luck. DIane

Hi Jody, I am having my surgery done by Dr. Roc Bauman. He is a very nice man. He is very smart and quite funny. Before he even see's you for a consult you have to watch a video about all of the surgeries and actually watch a procedure being done. He said something to me when I was with him that made me decide that he was for me, He said to me "I can help you with this problem". Another doctor I had seen just said to me yeah you fit the criteria I dont have a problem doing the surgery. I was not happy with that. But Dr. Bauman really seems to care and really wants to HELP you, not just perform the surgery. Maybe look at his patient forum and see what you think. Hope this helps! Good luck! Hey Jody! I'm having mine next monday in greensboro, but I know of several who have gone to Fernandez(fuzz) in W.S. so maybe you should look into him. I heard he was really good and non of my friends had any complications. Good luck and let us know who you decide on. Char

I totally understand about not receiving any response. I post all of the time on the Utah forum. I have received a response 3 times. It is very disheartening especially whe this is a place for support. Thank you for bringing attention to this!

Well DR Bauman is in Concord...he is with Carloina W l Center he is very good and his office help is so nice they did everything for me..and I was approve..
