Sorry gone so long
Donna
Hi there Donna!
I accidentally clicked on this forum which is listed in my "favorites"! Wow! Not any activity here any longer!
I don't know your cir****tances sweetie but I do know that you are loved. You don't need to come to an internet chat site for some compassion and help. Give your Ward family a chance to embrace you and definitely take it up with Heavenly Father. He forgives, loves, guides and blesses unconditionally. I have gone through a little inactivity myself which originated with health problems and then continued to just be easier to stay at home. It's tough to jump back into the deep water so just step some toes into the shallow end; maybe let your visiting teachers hang out for a while and help you. Or just call them and tell them you need some extra TLC and a safe friend to sit by during Sacrament meeting. I find that having someone "save" me a seat gives me a comfy point to begin.
The hands are there ready to reach out....you've just got to extend your own for the embrace!
Be happy! You deserve love!

We don't know each other, but I am here for you as well as Heavenly Father. I am also divorced, but that was a long time ago. I still remember it feeling like a death, the end of something I had worked hard at. But, if it is not meant to be, you cannot force it.
I agree, contact your VT for some visits and know they will be there for you also in Sacrament meeting. Although I am a convert to the church just this past April, I know my ward family loves and cares about me. They show it every Sunday and whenever I have needed help, they have been there.
I also have a great relationship with the missionaries in our ward and call on them or my Home Teachers when I need a blessing. It allows them to serve also, so we all benefit.
We are here for you, Phyllis
