Re-introducing myself...

Appreciate the invite to come on over and say hi.  It has been about 3 years since I have been here and my upcoming revision sparked my return.  I am Alison, am 37, and live in Ohio.  I am married to the most incredible man ever and I have 4 kiddos, India (16G), Graeme(11B), Adelaide (8G), and Emily (4G).  I had LapBand surgery 3 years ago and have recently begun having problems...not to mention it didnt work the way I had hoped.  So I am blessed enough to get the chance to do it over and have a RNY.  I live in Northwest Ohio and co-own an in-home-childcare/preschool in my basement which we remodeled into a daycare.  So in addition to my 4 kiddos I have 5 babies and btw. 3 and 5 preschoolers every day.  My oldest 3 go to school and my 4 yr old comes to preschool with Mommy.  I am excited for my RNY surgery...band was removed on Oct. 27 , 2008 and RNY is scheduled for Dec. 19, 2008.  I am in YW (with my 16 yr old) and my husband is ward clerk.  We love our ward family and they are very supportive!

So I guess that is me in a nutshell (a kinda large nutshell)

Oh yes...my teaching/business partner and my SIL both had RNY so I have good support right around the corner!

Nice to meet you all!

Well there you are!!!

Welcome back.  Maybe our board will start to see some more activity - we need to support each other in our weight loss journies.

Welcome. I agree, would be nice to see more activity here so we could support each other.

So glad you get the chance to do the RNY. Mine has worked wonders for me.
