Hello everyone,,,was sitting here reading all the wonderful info I get from this web site and a question came to me. After surgery does the small amount of bread we take for Sacrament cause anyone any problems?? Happy Easter!!

I know a friend of mine had to go home after taking the sacrament...so I was SCARED! I took a piece of bread that was next to the size of a crumb for the first few weeks...I do fine though. Ya might be careful for a couple weeks (till the swelling has gone down) You'll probably be fine!

I didn't go to chuch for a couple weeks afterwards (thank goodness for confrences) and to be honest I didn't even think about it when I first took it. It hasn't given me a problem yet but I usually grab a string cheese when I leave the house and eat it as soon as my kids and hubby are settled in Sacrament meeting. By the time the Sacraments passed that yummy protien i****ting my stomach and doesn't really notice the bread and small bit of water that follows. I'm sure it also depends on how post-op you are and what your able to eat. I'm 6 weeks and don't really have any problems. I think if we are doing it with the right attitude Heavenly Father will make everything fine. My own opinion though. I'm interested to find out what others have experienced, also.
