failed EKG
HI
I am usually on the California Board. Been doing a lot of soul searching lately and a lot of prayer.
My surgery was scheduled for 8-9-04 but they called it off because of a bad EKG. Well it has gone sorta down hill since then. I am now scheduled for a Cardiolite stress test.
My dad and his wife have been called to haiti for a mission. Two of my sons 13 years and 11 years have been baptized I was excomunicated a few years back. sort of a relief the burden was lifted off my shoulders (guilt)
I went with my family to the going away meeting (dad says they dont call them farwells anymore) and I realized I was where I needed to be.
So if I can get myself up in the morning I am going to go to church on Sunday.
I am asking for prayers for a clear test.
Glad I found this board.
Erin
I am glad you found this board too!! We need/want all the members we can have. We are a "quiet" group but have gotten little more talkative over the last month or so.
Hang in there!! ((HUGS))!! What is to be...will be!! I HATE being told that...so if you do to I am sorry. Othewise leave it up to your Father in Heaven. What is in his plan will be what is needed for you and your family!

Thank you for the welcome. I know that this is all happening for a reason. I also know that I have been blessed and am being given miracle after miracle. I am so calm my heart is calm I know that I will have the surgery soon enough and that It will be the right time.
My kids are so excited about going to church. My oldest should be a deacon. I have and eight year old who so wants to be baptized. I promised him I would go so that he could get baptized.
Thank you again
Erin
Hi Erin!
Welcome! Good for you for making the choices you have to go back to church. It is a strong driving force for me I know. I struggle OFTEN with it. My husband is a NM and I and my daughter are the only ones active. I just came back into activity 4 years ago. After 6 years of no activity at all. I understand.
I am sorry about your EKG, I went through something similar last year, and it is a bit discouraging when you get that close, and have to pull it away. But I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Glad your here, hope we can all get to know you a bit better!
My husband isnt a member. He did however sit in the lessons the whole time my kids took the lessons. i purposely had the Spanish speaking elders at the house for him. He loved having the missionaries there. They talked Soccer.
I am just waiting for my Cardiolite and anything else that may follow. i know that I will be having the surgery. My cardiologist feels that I need this surgery as I am high risk for heart attack.
thank you for your welcome and i will be here often.

Hi Erin,
I'm so glad you found this board too. I am new here but everyone is really nice and they have good chat sessions.
Get yourself up on Sunday, cause you will be glad! I can't imagine how hard that would be, but I know it can only do good things for your family!
Where is Los Molinos? I live in the desert of CA. I haven't been on the CA page cause I'm new to this whole web site. I haven't had surgery yet either, but I am still hopeing. I have done all the prelimenary stuff except some classes I have to take. And then I am waiting for an approval. I have a while to go I think.
Anyway, good to have you here. I'll keep you in my prayers!
Take care, Billie
Hi
Thank you for the pep talk. I talk as if we have to get up early to go to church. The chapple is like 15 min. from our home and Church starts at 10:00 big deal isnt it?
Los molinos is 22 miles North of Chico and 25 South of Redding. We live on 400 acres of Prunes and Walnuts.
I cant wait to get to know all of you on this site. i look forward to reporting my progress both with surgery and spiritual growth.

Erin,
It's good that you're doing this for yourself. Nobody can make you want the Lord in your life. I'm sure your family will be so thankful though.
I know the Lord will bless you if you make it to church. You'll find all the lessons touch your heart in one way or another and it may even seem like they're especially for you. That's the beauty of the Holy Ghost. Your life will be blessed and you'll have peace that you haven't had for a while.
Good luck with your tests and a smooth road to surgery and recovery. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you.
Love,
Hydi
(((Erin)))
so sorry for the pain you are going through!
I was inactive for 13 years, nearly excommunicated and have fought to be back. My hubby and I were finally sealed in the west jordan utah temple in april. Funny how Heavenly Father lets us know that we can forgive ourselves as well as him forgiving us. I truely believe that we are harder on ourselves than he ever will be! Have you asked for a blessing? They truely work miracles! My prayers are with you.
Trudi
