Mondays question of the day
1. What do you do to get out of a rut when you find yourself feeling "stuck"?
2. What is your greatest accomplishment?
3. What is the one thing in your life you regret the most?
OK Here are my answers:
1. Usually spend money - too much money - to get out of the rut. If the rut is spending too much, boy am I in trouble. OOOOPS!!!
2. I think my 3 kids being as wonderful as they are is my greatest accomplishment
3. My biggest regret is never learning how to cook - I try as an adult but lets just say sometimes our dog wont even eat my attempts at cooking!

Mondays question of the day
1. What do you do to get out of a rut when you find yourself feeling "stuck"?
I don't really know. I am in a great rut now! I guess I probably find a new craft or art to get involved in.
2. What is your greatest accomplishment?
My children! They are wonderful people in spite of me! lol. Seriously, they have all been married in the temple, are rightious and good parents. Wonderful productive citizens. I am very proud of them. Besides, I really like them. Not just love them but actually like them.
3. What is the one thing in your life you regret the most?
That I was not active in the church and was not as rightious as I could have been. Therefore, by extension, was not as good a mother as I could have been. I made some seriously wrong choices when my children were younger.
Good questions.
Thanks for doing them.

1. What do you do to get out of a rut when you find yourself feeling "stuck"?
I usually think about how blessed I am, and compare my life to most of the world.....that 90% of the world would love my old run down home, that I have plenty of food, material possesions, etc.....I think having served my mission in Taiwan I saw alot of poverty and it changed my view of life.
Reflecting on my children's good health (something NO money can buy) and my good marriage always gets me reved up to be happy and bright.
2. What is your greatest accomplishment? I think my greatest is having my three children, and I'm a good mother. I make mistakes of course, but I'm fairly even keeled and I stay firm on our values and my kids are very well behaved and good kids.
3. What is the one thing in your life you regret the most? I guess that would be allowing my wild side to rule my life for so many years. My Patriarichal blessing even mentions my wild spirit....and my need to test good and bad laws, even in the prexistance....(imagine!)....and even there I learned right from wrong by testing.....
After my mission I totally left the church and just went wild.....I had a child out of wedlock (my eldest), made many mistakes, and really damaged my body and spirit. Now I'm fully active and keep a firm rule over my spirit, but deep down I still want a tatoo, drink some wine, go dancing on tables......but instead I stay home and read with my babies and be a good wife. My husband has made it very clear he will not put up with any nonsense in our marriage....and I respect that....and I have no intention of being a poor example to my kids. I have been through alot of church discipline, and I don't ever want to go through it again. It was very humbling. Now I'm temple worthy and plan to be good.
but my spirit always wants to see how close to the edge I can go. she's a bad girl....
1. What do you do to get out of a rut when you find yourself feeling "stuck"?
A: Pray. Read scriptures. When I'm in a rut it's usually because I'm not growing spiritually.
2. What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: Ditto! My kids!!! My kids are beautiful, smart, curious about spiritual things and well mannered (most of the time). I think that's an awesome accomplishment and I can't think of anything I'm prouder of!
3. What is the one thing in your life you regret the most?
A: Something that I did when I was young that I had to do some serious repenting of. I don't talk about it though, as it's in the past and I've definetally learned from it.
My answers to today's questions.
1. What do you do to get out of a rut when you find yourself feeling "stuck"?
I usually try to find good people to surround myself with! I usually feel worse when I don't have good people in my life. Good uplifting people help me to get out of ruts! When I was doing ediets (another diet group) I was in a LDS chat group similiar to this and those wonderful women often helped me get out of ruts. I have a couple of people right now who I turn to when I am rutting! I love people.
2. What is your greatest accomplishment?
Well that pat answer is the one I will have to go with. Actually having and raising 4 children. I am not done yet, my oldest is 11, but I can't believe I am actually doing it! I never wanted children and didn't have confidence that I would be a good Mom, but I love it and I love them.
3. What is the one thing in your life you regret the most?
Wow, this is a tough question! I try not to regret. There are things I wish were different, but I think that I did everything I could of done with the knowledge and situations I was in. I could of made different choices, but I don't really regret things. I am who I am because of those experiences. --OK, I have one. I regret that I started throwing up in high school. There's probably more. Hopefully we learn form our choices and we can help others because of those experiences.
Sorry this is a novel. Good questions.
Billie
