Please keep the Wadmans in your prayers

Trauma Queen
on 12/3/05 3:20 am - Jacksonville, FL
Michael and Robin Wadman were members of our Kingsland ward here in Ga., but had recently moved to St. Augustine Florida for work. Micheal had Lap RNY about two years ago, and was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He passed away December 1st from a tragic motorcycle accident. I am leaving the article from the St. Augustine paper here. -------------------------------- The father of five children was killed Wednesday when he lost control of his motorcycle and he hit a utility pole. Michael Paul Wadman, 40, is survived by his wife, Robin, and children, ages 4 to 17. "He was a great man and a wonderful father," said his wife. "He had a huge heart." The Wadmans had lived in St. Augustine for eight years before they moved to New York four years ago, and then Georgia two years ago. They moved back to St. Augustine about six weeks ago. Wadman was working as the office manager of Land Title of America Group with family friends, the Collins family. "He was honest, decent, loving," said Bertha Collins. "He'll be sorely missed. He loved the kids. He was a great man." Wadman was an Air Force veteran. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Wadman was riding his 1985 Honda Goldwing south on Joe Ashton Road in St. Augustine around 8:30 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. His motorcycle ran off the road onto the east grass shoulder, his handlebar hitting a mailbox. He then hit a culvert, and went airborne. The motorcycle landed on its left side, and as he fell, Wadman hit a wooden utility pole, troopers said. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
