Prayers Please......

Hello......My name is Kristi Chenoa Rhines and had WLS in Edmond Oklahoma Nov 15th....had a few complications...was released from the ICU to go home on the day before thanksgiving....still struggling with eating......GERD.....and vomitting.........I have no members of the preisthood in my household.........and would love a blessing.........thanks so much to all...and to Heavenly Father..............hope the holidays are happy and filled with the Spirit!!!!! Kristi, That first month is really hard!! I'm sorry that you aren't feeling well. Have your visiting teachers come by to see how you are doing? If you tell them that you are having a hard time, they can assist you in getting a blessing. I had a lot of vomiting in those first few weeks. It does get better with time, but I know that doesn't help you now. I hope you feel better soon, C Leigh

Hello......good to hear maybe it's not forever pain.....and moved into a new ward so.........no visiting teachers yet........can't wait to have the missionaries over for dinner(don't know maybe for some sf jello)...LOL...not!!! My speciality is homemade tacos......I love sending them home for the night w/full tummies.....and those big grins on their faces...........isn't the Spirit great??????? Kristi

It is okay to contact your bishop and he can call the Elders Quorum President to assist in your getting a blessing. I do agree that the first few months are the hardest to adjust to. But, in the end, it will all be worth it. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Donna

Yes, be sure to call on your hometeachers for times like this. They can always give you a blessing. My son served his mission in Oklahoma. He was there about 12 years ago. I can hardly believe it has been that long! My youngest son is serving in Washington and my other son served in the Philippines. Anyway, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. Also, lots of talk on the board about birthdays. Mine is also this month....the 26th. We are giving all our married kids 72 hour kits for Christmas. Christy

Hi Kristi, I know I am responding from a post you did way back in the beginning of December..but I just wanted to tell ya hi. I read other posts of yours on the November 2005 message board. I just found this forum and I am thrilled. It's nice to be able to have a place to go to where we all have something that unites us besides weight loss surgery. I hope you are feeling better.
