1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? When I was in the hospital last month for my surgery 2 things. First my best friend Danna spent 2 days w/me. She felt that it was minor compared to the weeks on end I spent w/her in the hospital. Also my primary care physician called me from her home after she got home from work and talked to me for nearly an hour. She knew that I was very depressed having to be in the hospital longer than I should and she was being supportive. 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. Okay...this is hard. I would have to say pictures of my family 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? Pair of capri pants 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? My children and the eternal joy of knowing we are a forever family!!

I have worked w/2 different types of feeding tubes. The G-Tube and the J-tube. The J is the most commonly used I think it has a little tube that comes out of the belly. The G is like a button. I am sorry you have to go threw this!!! Take care of KAYE!! Love, Gala

1. If you won a million dollars today what would you do with it? Pay off my house and student loans, and go back to finish my masters degree, and start a college fund for my kids 2. What is your best feature? my green-blue eyes 3. What feature would you most like to improve on? eliminate the batwings 4. Do you have a nic name? If so how did you get it? For years I went by allie - my middle name is Alycea and I HATED the name Sherrie as a teen ager so I started using Alycea, but nobody said it right so I became Allie. 5. Did you go to Seminary as a high school student? I went every Friday for scripture chasing and donuts, but I was not the most faithful attendee any other day. I went on and off as my sleep patterns would dictate. I have to say I am so proud of my daughter - she wakes up at 4:45 faithfully to get to seminary - she is doing better then I did!!!

1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? One of the sisters in our ward volunteered to take in my suit for me - a nice suit I simply cant wear anymore. I have to say though the thing that touched me MOST - in Dec my hubby was out of work - a person dressed as Santa left bikes for each of my kids on our front porch, along with about 40 other presents. I thought it was going to be a slim pickins Christmas, but thanks to "Santa" the kids had a wonderful time! 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. My cello 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? I have a pair of size 36 jeans, and a pair of 5X mickey mouse pants 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? Eternal Progression

Hey there Tracey! Great questions. I really love your desire to design flowers! Never thought of that! LOL I just love it. 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? My Dh, dd and dsil are constantly doing sweet things for me that touch me. Today, my dsil brought me some refried beans from one of my favorite restaurants. He is so thoughtful. 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. Been there and done that! Husbands precious vintage guitar. Most everything else can be replaced. 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? I have a dress and a pair of jeans saved. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? The principle that we will be sealed forever and reunited with our loved ones. Even the ones we don't remember because I know we love each other. (I am an avid genealogist)

1. If you won a million dollars today what would you do with it? Fix up my house and do some traveling with the family. 2. What is your best feature? My personality! My eyes? Who knows. 3. What feature would you most like to improve on? My tummy and my bum. 4. Do you have a nic name? If so how did you get it? "Owen", it is a family one that doesn't make any sense to any one else. 5. Did you go to Seminary as a high school student? All four years! But it was kinda easy cause we had released time (lived in Mesa Arizona.) So it was just like any other class. I am enjoying your board and glad to see it is buzzing with stuff.

Topic: Update on me.
I had my endoscopy and dilation yesterday! I can, somewhat, eat again. I will be having one a week for awhile. My blood tests showed my protein etc is very low so I will get a feeding tube on Wed. Not looking forward to it but that is that. I am feeling very peaceful about it. My blessing was that I am going to be fine and will recover fully. There was more and I feel at peace with everything. You folks had a lot to do with my serenity. Thank you so much! I appreciate having folks to talk with that understand my values and beliefs. Take care all. Grins, Kaye
