I just found this board but does not look like too much traffic is going on. Too bad.

When God Makes a Promise, It remains forever true. When your disillusioned and every hope is blighted, Recall the promises of God and your faith will be relighted.

I just found this board while on the gay and lesbian board. Don't start with me about it, some of my best friends are gay. They were talking about updates on forums and how OH was starting more religious forums. Boy, was I shoucked when I saw one for us. I will stop more often now that I know we are here.

That sucks and the fact that they are waiting to see if you miscarry on your own! What a horrible experience. I had to kinda chuckle at the everyone was pregnant comment since that's how it always feel. I am in a young ward now and we always have someone pregnant. It's a killer, I know.

I came here on a fluke and guess what....it has been forever since people have posted. Are we all so busy with callings that we can't come to the board for support? I just got back to work again after a nice summer break. We went to Alaska and it was wonderful I had a ball and including a "aip line advernture in Juneau, I can't believe my lifestyle after 7 years. Yes...it has been 7 years since my WLS. I'm trying to figure out to change my picture, but can't seem to make it work....any hints? Well back to planning lessons. Blessings to all

What to do? 1. Get your friend to change her phone number and not give the new number to your brother. Or block him so he can't call her phone. Most phone can do this it should be a piece O cake. 2. Tell your Bishop about the problem and let him handle it from there. That's such a sad situation, people sure do get themselves into some terrible messes. Kerry

Hi Lithia! Holy Cow! I"d better start living a cleaner life if I'm unable to "show" that I"m LDS! *winks* I'm very sorry about the loss of your mother Lithia! Losing a parent definitely takes the wind out of our sails and gives us pause to redirect our lives. I'm sure your "mum" would be so proud of your efforts towards better health and a higher quality of life. No need to wait to post until you get your date! The AZ forum is VERY supportive of pre-ops. In fact, having a group of mentors (aka angels) is a MUST!!!! ..... My Distal is indeed working for me so far....and working, and working and.....well....lots of trips to the potty during my recovery phase! That's typical of the first few weeks and forever after if the wrong foods are eaten. I had a half of a cheeseburger last night and thought I would die before I could finally get rid of the tight tummy and tight chest feeling! .... I'm within pounds of my first goal weight though so will consider a shopping trip before long! LOL! .... My boss may get tired of seeing me in baggy clothes! Good luck with your WLS journey and keep in touch!!! Joyce

Hey Joyce, I didn't realize you were LDS. =) Right now I'm still in the process of trying to get surgery. I've been faced with the heartbreaking loss of my mother this month, which has left me both more excited to get this weight off, and less excited in the depths of my sorrow. I had my second surgical consultation the day my mum passed away. It's been hard. I hope your distal "conversion" works well for you. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around the valley some. I'll be posting to the AZ board once I'm approved and get a date. ~Lithia
