pics of my ride
See my new V-Star on my profile page. Just added Cobra drag slip on pipes and they sound sweet. However, should have re-jetted, factory screw adjustment not 100%, getting occasional backfires and some bluing of pipes. Also, not in pic but just added new mustang seat, factory seat less than comfortable IMO.

i started riding after 4 weeks after open gastric bypass...prob too soon, but i was going insane not being able to ride...i go to the doctor today to get relased to ride...not sure if i should tell him or not..
Thanks all, the v-star is lots of motorcycle for the price. I was back riding after about 2 weeks, my surgeon lifted all restrictions at that point and took that to mean that I could start riding again. I going on a poker run this weekend to raise money for prostate cancer research and the local cancer centre, its my first large group ride, its a little intimidating the thought of being in a large pack of a few hundred other riders but I figure you have to start somewhere.
Hey Mark!
Hot bike there!! Gotta love them Stars!!! I ride a Roadstar... I just luv to ride.. anywhere... have you found any Tech sites? http://www.startouring.org/
is a good place to be and you can get TONS of tech advice...
All Factory seats suck... I think they do it on purpose. Just a heads up to anyone who cares... www.alaskaleather.com the sheepskin pads ... make a huge comfort difference.. I have one and I am a long distance cruiser.. Let me know how ya like that Mustang seat...
Ride on.. get that groove on.... 2 wheels
