I think this forum could be so much fun with everyone talking about what they love to do.......RIDE......and we have bike week around the corner. I can't wait this year. Last year I sat on the back of my husband's bike but this year I have my own. We got two new ones for christmas. My husband got a Yamaha roadwarrior 2004, 1700cc, and I got a Yamaha V-Star Custom 2005, 1100cc. I will be checking in daily to see if anyone has checked in and try to get this board jumping.
Hi Kim,
I am new to this board but wanted to tell you congrats on the new bikes that you and your hubby got for Christmas. We have a Yamaha Roadstar (midnite star 1600) and we love it. I haven't been able to ride much because it was so hard for me to be comfortable with all my extra poundage but all that is changing since I had my surgery. My hubby can't wait to buy me my first set of leathers! Enjoy those new bikes!
Well, I'll try to help fulfill your wish. I'm a newcomer and love bikes. We ride street on a 2001 Vulcan Nomad and my son and I dirt bike a bit. We're in Michigan, so the weather is starting to cool down now a bit - great for the color tours.
Congrats on your new bikes. I think that must make it even more fun with both of you on your own bikes!

Hey Jeri......I know...I'm quilty. I've been negelecting this sight. It's the same old excuse of being so busy lately. I promise I'll try to get back on. I'm getting ready now for biketoberfest in daytona. I can't wait. I haven't even been riding my bike lately. I need to get some riding time in before I go. We have a room for 3 nights and there's 5 of us. Party, party, party.

Hey Kim! Well, maybe this forum will get hopping after all. Especially if you tell us all about your Daytona trip......that should be a hoot! I envy you! Well, maybe next year.......... Just had my RNY done on 9/26 and am coming along pretty well. It's been raining here in NE, so I'm not missing riding as it's been pretty cool. I'm a member of Rolling Thunder Massachusetts Chapter 1, and we're planning a "Blues & Boos" night next weekend. Should be a lot of fun, we're expecting members from Maine & N.H. too.
Write back and tell us all about your exciting trip!
