As a goldwing owner I know I should have been happy, but I have been wanting a Harley for some time now. Well, yesterday my wife and I were out riding and she suggested we go by the Harley shop "JUST TO LOOK" well before the day was done, I had traded in my Honda for a Harley. I am now the proud owner of a 2006 Harley Davidson Heritage softail Classic. Now I just have to find enough time to break it in before Bike Week. Steve

You have excactly 8 weeks and 2 days. Not that I'm counting or anything. Thats how my husband and I got our new bikes last year. We went in for a oil filter for the bike he had before and left with two new ones. Gotta love it. ENJOY.......get going on breaking it in. Gotta look purty for bike week.

Congratulations on the new bike! Even though we may have tried and true machines, it's always exciting to get a new one! Keep her shiny!

Good luck with the new Harley Steve.... I must say there is a whole culture out there of Harley Riders. When I started riding in Florida I started out on a 95 Sportster Custom...then moved up to a Road King. Back in 2003 I made the mistake of test riding a Goldwing and have not looked back! What a great machine. I would not trade it for any other bike. I do agree that you have to at least own a Harley once to see the difference! Can I interest you in 200 Harley T-Shirts ? LOL Never mind they are all 3X and I'm down to a Large now as I'm sure you are. I remember reading your Bio before my surgery and it inspired me! Safe Riding Ken

Thanks Ken, You can keep the Harley shirts, I refuse to own any clothing with an X on the label.:l0l: Congratulations on the great weight loss, I'm glad I was able to inspire. Like I said, there was nothing wrong with my Goldwing, it was a great bike, and I think my wife still resents me because I traded it for the Harley, but darn I love my Harley. Stay Safe, steve
