bike to work today

Took my bike to work today- Suzuki 800 and dam it is cold. Was 35 degrees when I left the house. Need to get new gloves. It is supposed to be in the 70's this afternoon. Kept telling myself how good the ride home will be. I know that Steve is laughing at us New Englanders but hey it is what we do to get in the extra riding..... It is supposed to be a nice weekend. Hopefully will be able to get a full day on Saturday. Its good to see more people posting.... donna

I think it was 35 degrees here once, You are a dedicated biker to be on your bike in that kind of weather, I still need to get a pair of chaps for next winter, so that I can ride in our frigid 60 degree winter weather. Enjoy your ride home. steve

60 degrees and we ride in shorts. not really but close.... The ride home was good but today we got up in the mid 70's it was like summer. Was actually putting bike in garage and I looked at DH and we went back out for another hour. donna

Donna; Hope your trip home is warmer than the trip in. My hubby used to ride when the weather was in the 30s when we lived in Michigan. I am looking forward to riding this weekend. I live in So. Illinois and it was 78 degrees today, but I had to work, but this weekend looks good for riding. My husband is out of town working and I am kinda rubbing it in his face that I will get to ride and he has to work. I have a '05 Fatboy and I just love it. My husband has a '03 Road King Classic. I am taking a ride tommorrow to go join a Chapter. I am praying I dont get rained on. I live in rain country Oregon! I almost rode to work today also but they said Rain and we got it. I dont mind a cool ride I just like a dry ride. I have to go one hour each way.. and its all freeway... :yikes: Hugs Angel J
