Got to eat some dust . . .

It was spring break for my son's school this past week and we were able to take a couple of days and take the dirt bikes up to some state trails in northern lower Michigan. We had a great time and were able to return without any major mishaps/damage to the bikes or ourselves. The big difference for me was that I was able to handle it much better and was not exhausted as I was a year ago. The weight loss has made it a lot more fun! (I'm sure the bike didn't have to work as hard either!) My son (almost 15) is getting to be a pretty good rider. He's bragging how he never went down either day. Well, needless to say - I push my and my bike's limits a bit. I went down once pretty good and got a little off balance a few other times going over rocks and trees that had fallen over the winter. So, anyways, he thinks he's pretty hot right now. Needless to say - I'm ready to go again! Ride On!

OMG I loved riding dirt bikes. . . hopefully someday I will be able to again. I am sure it will feel wayyyyyy different than when I was doing it at 400 lbs. Glad to read that you enjoyed yourself.
