Angel;
Good to see you girlie! I just got caught up on your profile. You're looking beautiful!
It's been too hot to ride here. 100-105 everyday lately and we haven't had any rain in weeks. Ugh! We're in stage I water restrictions and everything is very dry and gross.
I'm 3 lbs. from Century Club. Sounds like we're on the same pace. Hopefully this will be the week!
Blessings,
Jennifer

Hey Angel!
Thanks for the kind words. I'm down 92 lbs so far and have more than that to go but yeah, you're right - the way I feel is 100% better than before. I didn't even realize how bad I felt before because it was so gradual getting there and now I'm dropping far faster than I gained.
The weather has been so nice around here I've been riding every chance I've had. I haven't gone on any 'real' rides but still use it whenever I can.
I see you've been doing some upgrades to yours. Post some pics when you get a chance.
Hugs.....
Rick

Hi
I'm back from Germany. It's good to be back in the good ol US of A. We had a good time though, visiting my wifes aunt, uncles, cousins and their familys. We went on a Rhine River curise and saw a bunch of old castles. The flight over and back wasn't bad, nine and a half hours from Chicago. It was great not having to get a seat belt extender. I am so happy with my WLS, and that I have lost over 100 lbs. I want to lose around 50 more.
Me and a friend are planning a ride to the Oregon Coast over the Labor day week of Sept. 2 through Sept 10. We are leaving Ogden UT. the morning of the 2nd and going up Highway 84 through Baker City, Pendelton then crossing into Washington. all the way over to the coast, then going down through Astoria and then the entire beautiful Oregon coast. I can't wait. It is going to be fun.
Isn't Troutsdale around Portland? Maybe we could meet somewhere and say howdy.
Sounds like you are having a great summer...................Live to ride, Ride to live......Dean......

Is anyone heading to the AMA super bike races this weekend? We're going down for the third year in a row - so I guess you can say we enjoy it. There are quite a few vendors, some neat demonstrations, demo rides, a lot of street bikes to look at along the road in and naturally some fine racing.
If you can't make it there, the Speed Channel usually covers the race on Sunday afternoon. All the big names - Ben Spies, Mat Mladin, Eric Bostrom, Jake Zemke, Miguel Duhamel will be there.
Ride safe,
Matt

Yeah - I shuld pick one up. I rarely go over a week without starting it but sometimes I travel for work to places back to back and am out of town for a while. The bike is only a couple of years old and I had to replace the battery earlier this year. I had it sitting for 2 months that time and it ruined the battery.
Thanks for the tip!
Rick

Good to hear you got to ride a bit this weekend, Rick! It's been either too hot or rainy up here so I didn't get out this weekend. It' supposed to be like Texas the next couple of days up here - mid to upper 90's. We're supposed to go on a ride Tuesday night - we'll see just how hot it gets.
You said you hadn't ridden in about six weeks and wondered if it would start. I know Wings are really reliable, but cycle batteries can always use a little TLC. If I park mine for more than a week, I always plug it into a battery tender. They come with a little harness and it takes about 10 seconds to plug them in after installation. I'm still using the original battery and it's a 2001.
Happy trails . . .
Matt
