Hey Kenny, I have my own Harley...2006 1200 Custom Sportster.......A couple friends ride metrics with us... we don't care....as long as you ride and are a friendly person I also wave to everyone.....I even wave to the people riding non- motorized bikes....lol! Congrats on the new bike! Tracy

It's funny, because unless I'm looking at a photo, I pretty much see the old me. Every once in a while, I'll be wearing shorts and look down and am surprised at how much smaller my thigh is, but I really can't see it. My shrink challenged me to explain to her what I feel when I look at myself so I came up with this analogy. It's like I've been homebound and while I've been stuck in the house, a crew came and re-did the entire exterior of my house. I can look out my front window and see the corner of the garage and admire the pretty new color. And if I look out the back window, there's some new landscaping that looks nice. The neighbors come to my door and tell me how fantastic it all looks, but I can't go outside and see the whole picture. I don't worry about the tags in my clothes being wrong except for when I try on something and it's too tight. Then I'm sure I haven't lost an ounce because my body has retained a lot of the same shape and too tight clothes look just as bad now as they did 93 lbs. ago. I do laugh when I take my clothes out of the dryer as I'm folding them because they're so tiny. I can't believe those little clothes fit me! I hear you on hoping for century club. I'm 7 lbs. away, so it will probably be another month before I'm there. With 22 lbs. to goal, the weight loss is getting really slow. Post some new photos tomorrow, ok? Thanks Jenn! Yes tommorrow is my eight months.. I was hoping to be minus 100 by now.. i am only 3 lbs away! I am almost there... 77 more lbs til goal. Do you ever feel like this must be a dream? And have fears that you will wake up and find yourself in the "old" you? Do u ever feel like the tags on your clothes must be wrong? And that you cannot "see" what everyone else sees cuz u still see old you peeking at you everynow and then.. albeit not as often as before but everynow and then you get a "glimpse" of what used to be as if saying "hey! I am still here and can come back tonight if I want and put you back the way you were!!"... know what I mean? Anyone? Hugs all! Angel J LOS

Angel; WLS-wise, I'm doing fab! Today is 8 months! I met with my trainer today and I'm down to 159!!!!! In the four months since I changed gyms, I've improved my health enough to lower my "body age" two years. Not bad considering I had a birthday in there, so I'm actually a year older than when I started! Riding-wise...I've been on the road A LOT for both business, family obligations and vacation. Haven't gotten any riding in lately. I love the heat down here when I'm in shorts or a swimsuit, but it's too hot to get all the gear on for a ride right now. Michael's truck has been at the body shop for nearly 4 weeks to repair hail damage from a big storm in May and it's even been too hot for him to ride, so we've been doing our best to share my car. He's supposed to get the truck back sometime next week...I'm sure it will be a happy day for us both. We're far too independent to be a one-car household! Sorry to read about the funeral, but congrats on the corresponding WOW. As my WOWs are becoming fewer and further between, I wish I'd kept a better journal of them to reflect upon. Although, I'm expecting one tomorrow. One of my colleagues is getting married and my dress for the wedding is a size 10. My mom bought it for me the week after my surgery as a "goal" dress. And even better, for once I won't be wearing black! It's a gorgeous shade of turquoise. I know your 8 months is coming up on Tuesday. Let me know how you're doing!
