You've got to be close to hitting your 1000 miles for the summer already. Can I get a tally?

AMEN to that.. Everytime we go out on our bikes we are risking our very lives at the hands of "Cagers" .. as I was riding home from bike fest last weekend with the group we were riding formation .. and a lady comes cutting right through the middle of the group in front of the bike in front of me.. it was crazy!!! It was the Chapter Prez and he had a passenger on back.. he handled it like the Pro he is.. but seems like there is always some fool gunning for ya.. WATCH your road and whats happening from all around you .. I think we all should share at least ONE safety tip for a safe riding season... Mine is to watch where you put your feet down.. gravel and slick spots can cause your foot to slide and drop you off balance to the ground in a wink! ALMOST happened to me... RIDE SAFE and RIDE FAR this season I did 342 miles last weekend..

Hey everyone: I know this does not really have anything to do with wls. but in a way it does, since I have become addicted to riding since my surgery, and there are many other's on here that ride also.
I just wanted to remind everyone that in Texas and maybe other states too, May is Motorcycle Safety Month.
Please be aware of the bikers. We are moms, dads, nurses, professional people, your grocery store sacking boy, your minister at church, grandmas and grandpas, college kids who can't afford to drive their cars cause gas is so high, and people from all walks of life. just look our for us on the roads, slow down, and be safe.

The 'Henge looks pretty awesome. Glad you were able to use some of that MSF knowledge and avoid the moron that was gunning for you.

Seems like if we are gonna have a bike "fubar" there will ususally be plenty of folks to witness the event...

Ps I just posted some pix from the Stonehenge ride towards the end of my profile if any one wants a peek... had one %$#&@!!! almost run me down .. but my ever watchful eyes saw it coming and was able to avoid it.. Safety always first and foremost !
Topic: RE: Interesting moment on my bike!
Kenny, I had to laugh at your post. Every time I go to a rally, bike fest, or other biker get together, I PRAY, that I don't drop my bike in front of them; or knock down someone else's bike trying to back in to a line.

Angel, that's the great thing about a bike, you can ride with a group or by yourself, either way it's a lot of fun.
