Hi Angel J.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm glad that I found this board. You "guys" sure sound like a bunch of "rowdys"
I think that I'm going to like it here. I've rode my bike up and down the Oregon coast a few times. It is so beautiful. We usually stay around the Yachats (The Gem of the Oregon Coast) and Bandon (by the Sea) areas. Living in Utah we have a lot of great rides that we can do. We're not that far from Yellowstone Park and Jackson Hole WY. (we do that quite often) and all of the National parks down south, Bryce, Zion, Escalante Staircase, Grand Canyon, Arches, Mesa Verde in Colo. the list goes on. We've got some fun rides planed for this spring, I can't wait to get on the rode again. It's been a long winter..... Live to Ride, Ride to Live .

Welcome Dean, congratulations on the great weight loss. Come back and join us anytime, we need more people on this board. It sure is easoer to ride at 258, than at 365, isn't it? Kepp up the great work,
Steve
Topic: New to the board.
Hi everyone. I'm new to this message board, I didn't know you were here. I have been riding for 39 years. My ride is a Honda VTX 1300 R. I bought it new in 2003. I love it. I had RNY Oct. 5, 2005. I started at 365 and am now at 258. It's been quite a ride in itself. I'll post more later..........Dean.....

That would be the Honda Cub 50cc I think. Known here as the Passport. 50 million units worldwide sold so far. Remember the old advertising slogan "You meet the nicest people on a Honda". ?
Yep, I looked at a Swing as another option, but really liked the Burger
better since it had a larger engine, and more storage space. Fit and finish
not as good, and you give up the famed Honda reliability. But also a *****eaper.
I'll probably sell the Elite in a year or so and then move up. There might even be some 1000cc maxiscoots by then!
When I can't ride on two wheels, then it's time for a sidecar!
