If it starts up I would just have it serviced and should be ok. My hubby has a 03 model bike with about 450 miles... 400 of em I put on it! So he may very well not rode it. Sounds like a deal to me! Angel J Road

Ok I found a nice 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750 with 664 miles. Black and pearl blue.Owner claims to have rode it in 04 then in 05 had knee surgery and again in 06 so he is selling it. Problem or question is, he told me its the original oil and he never had the 500 mile breakin service performed since he has not been on it. The bike started right upno problem! Price is $4800. Any concerns with this folks??? thanks Kenny

The weather is starting to turn here in SW Michigan, too. Hopefully 50 degrees this weekend! All I need to do is check the air in the tires, put the battery in and take it down off the jack and I'm gone! I do all my service in the fall before I put it away for its winter "nap." The waiting is really getting to me. I put it away early in November before surgery, so I am definitely ready to go for a ride. Keep your knees to the breeze . . . Matt

Sorry Angel, it's riding weather year round here in Florida. If I go more than 12 days without riding, it means I'm working too much, and I change that. So yes mine is ready for me to jump on it and go, at the drop of a hat. Enjoy your ride, Steve

Kenny, if this is your first bike, go to a couple of dealerships. Sit on some of their bikes, and pick them up. This will give you a better feel for what you can handle size and weight wise. After you see what size and weight you like, then you can either buy from the dealer or look elsewhere for those bikes. Good luck and enjoy. Steve

Angel; Mine's ready to roll with the exception of having my annual required state inspection. Although to get to the inspection site, I've gotta roll! I'm out of town this weekend, so maybe after Race for the Cure next weekend I can get it done. Then I'll be able to ride freely again! Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 187 / ???
