I think this forum could be so much fun with everyone talking about what they love to do.......RIDE......and we have bike week around the corner. I can't wait this year. Last year I sat on the back of my husband's bike but this year I have my own. We got two new ones for christmas. My husband got a Yamaha roadwarrior 2004, 1700cc, and I got a Yamaha V-Star Custom 2005, 1100cc. I will be checking in daily to see if anyone has checked in and try to get this board jumping.

We are in North Georgia and both myself and my husband Tim rides. Ever get over this way give us a yell. We don't ride near as much as we would like but as our daughter (5) gets a little older we will be able to get out more with her. We both have 78 Honda CX500's.

Hi All,
Just found this board. I was hoping to find some local riders. I have a older shadow I bought last year before surgery. I put 4000 miles on it in 3 months. I hope to put a lot more on it this spring.

My head has shrunk at least a hat size. We had this Cristmas party with a Country & Western theme. I got out my hat and boots that I haven't worn in a couple of years. The hat and the boots were way too big. I've lost 169 lbs.

I have lost 140lbs in a year and my head hasn't shrunk at all. Of course my face is thinner, but not head..

Hi Jim, unfortunatly i dont live very close to you. I do ride and i am single LOL But i live in New Hampshire. Hopefully you will find someone closer to you that loves the feel of the wind blowing in her hair. Good Luck.

Hi,
Last year I got a gift certificate for Christmas to Andretti Power Sports (one of Mario's sons owns this business) so I could buy a new open face helmet. I have been waiting and waiting because I figured my head would shrink and then my helmet wouldn't fit. My dad says that my head won't shrink, but sometimes he "talks out his ass" so to speak. Am I stupid to wait to buy the helmet?

Both my husband and I ride, we both have Victorys (Victory Vegas & Victory TCD Deluxe). If you are looking for others to ride with there is a new chapter of our club in New York our main website is Freedom-Cruisers.org. We live in Central California and my husband is the president of our Chapter. no riding for 4 weeks is going to suck ;(
