I am new. I had to log on to this forum because I love any and all music. Wake up-- morning meditation-- or turn on the gospel, after a while to get going turn on techno/dance ( great for exercising) , at work listen to light jazz, coming home a little R&B, Of course my teenagers only want to hear rap-- I'm ok with it -- minus a few choice words! Well, wish Georgia and MS were closer - I just moved to a place where there is no chorus and I,also, miss performing a lot - especially since I have lost 71 pounds since my WLS on 6/21/05. I sing specials at church and I am in the choir but it is not the same! I was in Harmony Shores Chorus of Panama City, FL - one of those "perfect" Baritones! Take care and Happy Holidays!

Me, neither! I just had my lap-RNY on November 7th and am ramping up my lungs for my saxophones- I play alto and tenor. I'm hoping to be back in practice with my community band come Tuesday, I've been out two weeks now and I'm worried I'll be so behind everyone on our upcoming Holiday shows!! EEEEK! Hi, I had surgery on April 1st, 2005 (yeah, April Fool's Day) :0, I checked out your band's website and it's great. You guys have a really good sound. I play guitar and I am in a local band in Baltimore Maryland. I am married also and have a little girl. I am a member of a local motorcycle club - Black Tigers - and the band consists of members that are in the motorcycle club. We found out that some of us played instruments and sing so we decided to put a little thing together and we play for motorcycle events. I kind of stopped playing and singing when I had my daughter and I got heavier (a little hard to breath and get around). Since the weight loss, I have more energy and can breath again. We play mostly cover tunes (old school r&b and funk). I'm glad I'm playing again I really did miss it and it's such a hugh part of who I am. Good luck in your journey also and keep us posted.
