Sounds good to me. Since most of us have been on about or tried to follow most of the diet programs out there some of us have learned a lot about dieting, and realize that these diets are doomed to fail. Studies have indicated the Native Americans can't tolerate the carbohydrates well and to us they have become a poison, causing the rampant spread of diabetes in those that Are Native American. Especially now attacking the Youth and elderly. I watch what I buy now more than I did when I was on any of these diets trying to illiminate products that contain sugars and excessive carbs. We have learned that Carbohydrates, and isulin help trigger the hunger mechanisms, and with the competition of the food industries trying to come up with foods that are fast, tasty, and easy to prepare. we have foods that not only have became loaded with carbs, but have had a devastating effect on this country and the fight against obesity. I have came to the opinion that we need to have a voice to educate people to the fact that maybe a hundred years ago people became obese because of overeating. But today the causes vary from each individual and I blame the addition to these food aditive as a major culpret of it. Some of us didn't have to eat much at all to become obese and surely didn't have to eat much to maintain the excess weight.

OF COURSE IT IS REALISTIC with WLS! If you eat those things that have ruined our diets, and that we LOVE so much, you will have problems. If it wasn't for this surgery I would be doomed. I just do not have the will power to NOT eat those things all of the time and to replace them with
protein and veggies. SOOOOO, this is my rebirth, and I AM STICKING TO IT!
