Signing consent forms.

I got a call yesterday. I go to sign my consent forms on Dec 8th. How long is it generally after you sign the papers that you have your surgery?

Yeah I just got my call yesterday. She said they had 2 appts available that day so I'm assuming they will fill the other one soon. Its all moving so fast now!!!

Yes I am sure they will fill them up soon! Yes I would say thing are moving fast! They did say that likely we would all sign papers before christmas. So I am hoping! I read on another section on here someone else called and they had 8 ready to come down for signing in december and as soon as the files were ok'd by dr B they would start calling.

yeah... I had lost the 4 lbs i needed to but gained 3 back due to boy issues so now I'm going to have to work really hard at losing the weight before next week ... oy! Sheesh men suck

Hi Charity I sign consent forms on Dec 8th too. Been waiting for this for so long I know I still have a long wait but at least things are moving along. Are you having bypass or lap? I am having bypass my appointment is for 2:20 maybe I will see you there.

Hi Marina, I am going with the bypass. Do not want the lap at all! personal reasons for that. My appointment is at 1:40. One of my friends said to me today.. sooooo your going in signing your life away... im like pretty much yeah

Hi Charity, I got a call today to go and sign the papers on Jan 5th at 2. They said that Dr B didn't want to have anyone in the hospital over christmas so only did one person and no other surgeries in December. So there is a back log for surgery, but to be prepared cause it could come anytime, never know what might happen. How did your paper signing go? Lori

Hey Lori, I lost 3 of the 4 lbs i needed to! so that was a bonus. And i seen him for oh 2 minutes lol... what a waste of 70$ :S stupid bridge fees. I asked him if I'd have it before May as my mom fishes and she is the one who is going to be looking after me. He says it should be before May. I'm hoping for it around march sometime.
