Finally the scale is moving!

Well I had been in a stall for 6 weeks...no movement not even an ounce until today....thank goodness I don't weigh myself everyday because it could have been very discouraging.

Hope I don't go through another stall like that for awhile.

...and for some reason my ticker is not updating on my posts but is updated on my profile. Anyway 47 lbs down so far.

I went through that same experience - stalled for 5 - 6 weeks starting at the two week post op mark. I'm just a little over 6 months out and haven't had a stall like that since. I do find I just lose for about two weeks each month but that's all cycle related. You're well on your way now!

How long do you wait for surgery after family doctor sends in referral ?

4 years from the time of referral until consultation with the surgeon.

3 months from consultation until surgery.

My referral went in 2007 and I got my first call end of October 2012.  Operated on July 9th, 2013.

Glad to hear your stall is over, ive had 2 so far and both times lasted for 2 weeks, but im down 133lbs so far, and feeling great!

How are you finding it so far? Are you still adjusting to foods or are you pretty much on your way?
