hey everyone,
i just got home today from gastric sleeve surgery with Dr b. I had my surgery on Tuesday but due to vomiting every time I drank I had to stay another night. I am finally able to keep things down. I don't have a lot of pain I'm just taking tylonol and am on nausea meds. The surgery went well no other complications and I seem to be improving as time goes.
It will come you guys and when it does everything will fly by...I started this with my first appt with Dr. B in Moncton Nov 6/13...all day session April1/14 ...signed papers Sept 16/14...now preop May7th and surgury May 26th. It is a tortuous wait but hang on when it happens it will be fast!

I know how you feel! My first appoint with Dr. B in Moncton was January 2014...signed consent forms October 3rd 2014 and have been waiting for the O.R. in Moncton to call ever since...I only hope I hear from them soon

Seems like it's been forever since my first appointment back in November! Sometimes I feel like I'm going out of my mind waiting! Lol. Hoping to get my surgery in June! Anyone else on here getting their surgery done soon in Bathurst?
That very well could be. I'm on a list to be seen by a gynecologist for my PCOS. Hopefully I can get in soon and get my cycle regulated.
It does go by so fast, seems like yesterday it all started. My surgery is tomorrow I'm scared and excited can't wait to be on the losers bench. I'll let everyone know how it goes when I get out of the hospital on wed I hope if everything goes well.

I had one that was a week or so late as well. Maybe it the point of stress at that time. Stress on the body from the weight loss.
Your time is getting so close! Could you imagine it a few months ago? lol...I am going to my preop appt May 7th and then start the diet on the 11th and surgery on the 26th. Time is ticking by....just so glad it is so close...let us know how you get along...will be thinking of you!
