Don't forget the States are way different in bariatrics than Canada...I've been researching for a long time...and same as you I am on support groups...a lot of them have problems with surgery or after...their diet after is 1 week liquids and 1 week puree...some less some more....
I have to tell you I could not have felt like I have received better care than I did with Dr Sermerjian in Bathurst the whole team is phenomenal....

lol...well on my list its not cheating...lol I have coffee on full liquids list...so have at it....My husband keeps annoying me though, every time I turn around he says "can you have that? are you sure?" I told him to get off my back...lol it was over scrambled eggs lol

I cheated on this as soon as I was off of clear liquids. Although, to be fair, I'm having more of a cafe au lait - one part hot milk and one part coffee.
The milk keeps the acid down and the coffee keeps me from going psychopath - this seems like a fair trade to me.

I had my surgery in Bathurst about 2 weeks ago. I didn't receive anything like that.
Not sure that there was any need for one. My advice would be to call them and ask; they're very accommodating.
I asked in sept. To be put on the lists. I knew about bathurst didnt know about fredericton. Going to call my dr. Tomorrow and ask to be referred to them as well. My dr said monctons wait list is about 9 yrs now and bathurst is about 4.
I used to be a big coffee drinker...now not so much...I could never fini**** in the morning so I just stopped buying it and now I don't even make one at work anymore. What I've done is I have the Chicken Soup flavored Unjury Protein Powder and I make a hot cup of it each morning...my co-workers looked at me a little funny the first couple of times but now they are used to it. It satisfies my need for a hot beverage in the morning and it gives me 21g of protein right off the bat :)
