Yes that will help for sure. He also goes by patient information not by date referred. So he hand picks his patients to speak. The process is very quick once.you get in to see him. Dr Macewain at the hospital may be able to help you out too. :)
Thanks! I'm without a family doctor but I hope to find one soon and get the process started. I know I have sleep apnea (I use a CPAP) and I heard they test for that.
I also am a non smoker and I heard that will improve your wait time as you don't need to be smoke free for 6 months.
hi, I am also from Woodstock. I would contact your family Dr asap as they may require you to do some pre requirements before referring. The Dr on Fredericton is Dr Boiverst. Most family doctors are not familiar with him yet.

I had my blood work and all that this morning. Meeting the anesthesiologist on the 26th.
I think you and I are running on similar schedules.
First week not too bad, this week not good. Very weak, had to stop work due to almost fainting twice. Have lost 23 pounds in 10 days and get very weak after any activity. A little nervous about going into surgery so weak but hoping things straighten out. Still think this journey is a positive one despite going a little differently than I'd hoped!
