Hi
I had my first consult early Feb , met the surgeon in March, information session/hospital tests/anesthesiologist mid April. Waiting for the call to get the sleeve done!
Day 2 for me ..... The exhaustion is setting in. It gives me hope that other people have done it and succeeded it.....just 12 more days. Curious if anyone's energy came back while doing the boost?
Sorry...right person wrong name lol....im at 1:15 on the 30th ...finding the shakes difficult but of course sticking with it....the clothes getting looser is whats helping me keep going. Good luck next week....maybe we will see each other....
Hi dan!!!!! You must be soo excited!! I had my first initial consult with the bariatric team in Bathurst on November 27, 2014 and ended up having my surgery on June 8th. It would have been sooner but wth my preop testing, they discovered that I was a type 2 diabetic. So that put a halt to the surgery but in between first visit and last before surgery were much the same as Liz's.
You will love love the sleeve (if you get it). This whole process is a real eye opener!!!! Keep us posted!!

My appointment is the day before yours.
I'm very pleased to read your time line, even though I know mine might not match.
I really appreciate your reply. This is very much a new day for me. I'm looking forward to it.
I added a table spoon of instant coffee to my chocolate ones made kind of a mocha but not too sweet. Also added crystal light the raspberry ice to the vanilla ones and it wasn't as sweet. It helped me get through the second week.
Things will definitely fly by now! My referral went in to the Bathurst clinic in Feb 2010. I got the call on Sept 29 2014 and had my first appt on Oct 22. I saw the nurse, dietician and psychologist. They are all absolutely lovely! I did the info session on Oct 27 and met Dr Savoie on Nov 7th. I did my pre op testing Nov 24 and met the anesthesiologist on Dec 9th. I had my surgery on Jan 12/15.
Everyone at the clinic is awesome!! Be honest with them (and with yourself) when answering their questions. If you are a pop drinker I suggest you quit drinking it now before your first appointment. I made a lot of lifestyle changes before my surgery and I would like to think it made things easier for me post op.
Post here often and don't be afraid to ask questions. There are many different experiences among us and a wealth of info and insight :)
When is your appt? I am there for a follow up on July 17 @ 1:00.
