how do you know...
I was reading on the main board and someone asked if they had hit a stall or had simply stopped losing. This gets me thinking... and I don't need to remind you that can be dangerous when I do! How do you know it's time for your body to level off? What if you've reached a weight you are happy with and want to stop losing? Am I crazy because my goal is only around 130 lbs? That would put me right at 200. I'm a fairly tall girl, I need a little meat. Gotta have some junk in da trunk! I've always been big... I think I have a fear of being 'skinny'!
Mornin', Ms. Ellen! Not really worried about looks. The post just made me think about leveling out. She was only 2 weeks or so out and I'm sure she's not done losing yet!
Was just wondering how it was for some that were out a few years and had maintained. I was just up too early and had no brain stimulation this morning!

If you reach your goal and need to maintain the NUT will help you will your maintenance plan... its rare that people keep losing when they want to stop... typically the changes in nutrition will help you stay where you need to be.
I think 200lbs is a fine goal... you may change when you get closer... my goal is 155... when I was around 180ish my NUT said she thought I looked just fine... I am still working towards my goal because my problem areas are finally starting to shrink (woo hoo!).
As for knowing when your body is done... if you havent reached your goal and stop losing typically your NUT can help you with getting to your goal... of course your body will only go so low and the rest of the weightloss may need to be done thru PS but for the most part I think anybody can reach their goal and never be done losing until they do... my friend took about 5 years to reach her goal.
