Yes, Postalchick, as far as I know, I have all the requirements completed.  I don't know for sure because all ;my data  is in a folder sitting on the dr's desk, so I have no idea if something is lacking.  I'm still waiiiiiiiting for some action.

Your folder must be on top of mine. Thats what they told me too!!!  He must have a messy desk!  Back tp that being patient thing again.

Hi Postalchick.   I've just received word that all  my requirements are in and checked off by Dr. Bowman.  I understand that this is the last step before being submitted to BCBS, my ins. carrier.  Finally, things seem to be moving again.  I'll keep you posted.  Meanwhile, I hope that the ball is rolling for you just as well???

Hi Postalchick.  I am so excited!! Today I received word that I have been approved by my insurance.  Maybe the folders on the dr's desk have begun to move.  I will expect a hospital date soon, I hope.  Perhaps your folder will move faster now that mine is off the stack.     Barbara

I am soooooo happy for you. Mine is stillllllllll burried under other charts. How long has it been since your 1st visit. mine was on June 8. My fingers are crossed and prayers sent that you will soon be on the loosing side. Good Luck Myrtis

Thanks, Postalchick.  My first visit was in May.  I'm anxiously awaiting a surgery schedule date.  I hear that Dr. Bauman is already booked for surgeries through the month of August.  Unless there is a cancellation, I guess I probably will be scheduled for September.    Barbara

  Believe it or not, I finally have insurance approval and a surgery date with Dr. Bauman.  It is Sept.14.  I am really looking forward to this and getting on with wt. loss.  He did tell me to lose some wt. before surgery and I am having great difficulty doing that.  Any ideas?
