I Got A Call!

Thought I had fell out or something... they never call! Said she just wanted to let me know she had my psych eval and was sending it to insurance.   Amazing... I didn't think it was real... I mean they never got the fax or the mailed copy.   The she says she wil call me back with my approval info! Is this a trick? I don't know what to think. I guess emailing the boss a 2 page letter really gets things going!    I'm in shock... I will have an answer Friday if all goes well!  It was really funny when I got the message... I'm scared to death now.

Don't be scared ~ I am sure that everything will work out great for you!!!  You have really been a trooper thru all this insurance crap!!  If you can survive this, you can survive anything!!!  And you HAVE survived so you should be really proud of yourself.  You are so much stronger than you realize!  I will be saying extra prayers for you that all you will hear on Friday is "YES, YOU ARE APPROVED!!!!"    Let us know as soon as you know!   Happy 4th of July!! Thanks! I really believe getting all the insurance bull in order truely is the hard part!  Don't worry... as soon as I find out something ya'll will know before I even post. Congratulations!   I think that the approval process was one of the harder parts of having this done.  It's been my experience that doctors have no clue what is going on in their offices.  They are often surprised and angered by the incompetence and ignorance that we, as their patients, have to put up with.  I have been known to give them "feedback" concerning an employee if there have been multiple infractions.  I figure everyone has a bad day or two, but if there's a pattern, the doctor deserves to know what his employee is up to. I'm excited for you, and proud of you for being so proactive.  I can't wait to hear when your date is... Take care. Ellen

Thanks.  Makes me wonder why I actually work so hard and try to take care of people! I'm only kidding. I understand it can be busy and hectic... still NO excuse for poor service. I thought when she called I was going to get another 'two weeks' notice.

I know how miserable that waiting game can be.  I am not sure what type of insurance you have.. but I have BCBS-State Plan and was approved in 1 day!  Keep your chin up..  I am sure that approval call will come soon! And hey.. holler on that mountain!  You deserve to!  :D Have a Happy 4th of July!
