Hello from a freaked out newbie!
Hey Kim!
Welcome to the NC Forum. I have found it to be a really very supportive place where there is no such thing as a "stupid question." So be sure to ask plenty of questions and post your experiences. We all learn that way!
RE: scrapbooking ... I love to do it. I live in NW Raleigh near the airport. I've decided that I'm going to scrap my experiences related to WLS. I'll probably use the info on my profile and maybe add some journaling to that. I need to be sure to get photos of myself on the way down :-). I just saw some recent photos. UGHHH! But I still need document the process.
Please feel free to check my profile (just click on my name or photo) and you are welcome to contact me anytime.

I am just starting to learn how to scrapbook and have made a small 12 month album to display my monthly pics for my first year after WLS. Sounds like we all need to get together for a scrapbooking party, huh????
Congrats on making the decision to have WLS. So far it's been an awesome journey for me. The hardest part is getting thru all the tests and doctors appointments and then waiting on insurance approval. The first few days after surgery were pretty rough just because I didn't feel too good and I was very sore, but now everything is great and I am so glad and thankful that God has allowed me to have this wonderful tool to help me get my life back. I am 15 days out of surgery and have lost 17 lbs!! I've actually lost a total of 30 lbs if you count my pre op loss too! So I am very pleased and excited! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Everyone on the NC board is great and will help in any way we can!
Hugs,
Donna
