Sorry to hear that things are not going as well as you had hoped. Hang in there and just concentrate on getting better. Pardon me for saying so, but the man who is caring for your animals sounds like a total *utthole!!! 
For goodnes sake, you are in the hospital!!! Does he not have any compassion??? That just makes me mad!! I wish I lived closer to where you do because I would take care of them for you. Try not to worry too much ~ I'm sure someone will step up to the plate to help you out. I will keep the prayers going up for you. Just focus on getting better!! We want you well and back here with us!!!

Thank you so much, sweet Donna! And thanks for the validation regarding my "friend". I just couldn't believe anyone could be so self-centered as he has demonstrated himself to be. I have called my son in NY and he is going to look into the possibility of coming down here to stay with me a bit. I will keep you all posted! Love you!

I will deal with that when I am well. Meanwhile I called my son in NY and asked him to come if at all possible. I will keep you posted,
