Wooooo hooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that today is my 5 year anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!   woo hoo!!!!!!!  Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am so very blessed to have had my WLS, I'm so much healthier and feel much better!  I have more energy than ever and even though I've gained a few pounds this past 2 years I'm on my way back down and I am determined to reach my goal!  I want to thank ya'll for the support and friendships I have made this past few months!   Just wanted to give myself a shout out!  lol!!!  Have a great week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You give me such hope for my future. It is so great to hear how well you have done. I am still waiting for my surgeon to call back and let me know what I need to do now. I hope to be getting a date soon. Happy anniversary! By the way, today is our 36th wedding anniversary. Beth

     5 years! Holy guacamole! LOL      I can't wait to see you on Friday. I hope you will inspire me to keep fighting, even though it is getting so hard for me to keep focused on THE BIG PICTURE!  I started out at just slightly below your highest weight, but I am shorter so probably much worse off. I am currently at 343 lbs.       As you've probably read, I was turned down by insurance company and will most likely be self-pay. But I do find myself angry and depressed more again lately than I have been. I don't want to turn to food again to comfort myself, because I have lost over 30 lbs on my own, but that's what's familiar to me. This board helps steer me in the right direction...but I still can't help but feel sorry for myself. (Whah! Poor me!) LOL I can admit it! It sux! 'Cuz I know I deserve it, dammit! Mare

Mare, Thank you!!!   I have been reading your posts and I'm sorry you're having such a hard time.  I don't know if you're able to change insurance with the company you or the hubby work with but I've had wonderful experiences with BCBS.  Please try not to get too discouraged I know it's easier said than done but there is a reason girl!  Remember things happen in his time, not ours.. ugh!  I'm an impatient person so I know it's hard.  Keep your head up and try to stay focused and positive.  I don't know if it's taboo to talk about this on here, so I'll talk with you more on Friday, I can't wait to meet you in person!!!

 II would like to propose a toastto my twin sista- Sheryl- we been separated at birth and just reunited after 44yrs-She has done awesome and together we will hit 170lbs!!! Drink up you water, or Crystal Lite or Protein Shake Here- here! Congrats gurl! You are an ole veteran now! Sheila
