Ok! I need a reality check!
My md's office submitted my packet on monday the 1st and BCBS has received it. I called today to check on the status and they said the nurse had it and was "investigating" some information. I don't know what the heck that's code for, but it was pretty straightforward from what I understood w/BCBS...now I'm practically in hysterics...ok,not really...but I could be! So, what is a decent amount of time to expect to hear back...what the average. The customer service actually told me that it generally took 48hrs...well heck...come on people!
Alright thanks for letting me vent.

While many may clear the medical review in just a couple of days, don't worry. When I had mine done, first they had to check to be sure all of the information was there. Then, they submitted it for review.
I know that the waiting is enough to drive a sane person 'round the bend, but I'm sure it will be done soon.
All the best,
Barb
