I'm back !!!

hello my NC friends. I have been out of commission again...but this time it was the hubby. he fell and hurt his back at work and he has had me busy for last week with appointments and running him for xrays and stuff. he is now on short term disability for the week and i'm having surgery next wednesday.... can you say stressed ?!?!?!?!!! But I'm so excited about surgery and I'm so looking forward to starting this journey. I went for my pre-op last week and guess what.... I LOST 15.4 pounds since July 6. OH MY GOSH!! I was floored. I knew I had lost some...but not even no where near close to that much. But..I did it and Dr. B was so proud of me. He actually gave me an "attaboy". He was very happy that I took him serious about the weight gain and he told me of another surgery he cancelled because of it. wow..I am soooo happy!!! Just thought I would say hello and start asking for everyones thoughts and prayers for me next week. Thanks a Bunch! Connie

Hi Connie! HUGE Congrats on your re-birthday next week sweetie and more Congrats on your weight loss since July! That is sooo awesome! You should feel very proud of yourself. :) I hope your hubby feels better soon, especially in time to help take care of you while you recover from your surgery next week. Hello Holley... I really appreciate the message. It is wonderful to have your support and I will need it more and more. I am getting really anxious about next week. one week from today by this time I should be in IV Drip land. The hubby is still down...so this is going to get interesting for sure. Moving slow I should say...not down. Can't wait to see ya on the bench! Connie

Hey Robin... Thanks for the well wishes!! It makes me feel so good that all of you guys here in NC Forum are such a great support. I don't have a desgnated "angel" I didn't really ask to have one since I am so far away from most everyone here in the NC Forum. Yes...DH is planning to be there with me. I guess I can ask him to keep someone/everyone posted. His back is still making him move slow... but I'm hoping after this weekend it will be ok. Thanks again for your concern. Happy Thanksgiving..!
