stressful situation
Hi Annie -
As you know, my mother lives with me more than half the year, so I truly understand. As Suzanne said, it takes some adjusting on everyone's part. I can only share that patience is truly a virtue and like you I strive to maintain my mother's dignity and my sanity.
Hang in there friend,

I know how you feel Annie. I had felt that way a few times with my Mom too.
I now wish I could go back and help them more. They both died almost two years ago. They had been married 60 years. My Mom died unexpectedly and my Dad a few months later. He was soooooooo sad without her and not in good health himself. It was very traumatizing and something I haven’t recovered from still.
Cherish each moment. Hug her as much as you can and take a deep breath. I so wish I could hug them and tell them how much I love and miss them.
Just think...you are already benefitting yourself with this new added responsibility. It is benefitting you both to have some great time together.
Thinking of you and knowing you are truly special for helping your mom!
