Hello OH Family

It has been a very long time since I've posted.  I am here a good bit off and on but I am so busy now with my new found energy that I am too busy to sit and update everyone.  HOW SLACK AM I???   I love this place and the support so I will try my best to do better.  I'm still looking for a job and I've been interviewing like crazy.  Its so frustrating and very discouraging.  But..ya know what..  God has a plan for me and he knew my life would be changing so much these past 3 months that I have completely turned it over to him.  I will have a new opportunity when it is right.  I love my new life!!   So I've been reading all of the posts today and I'm sooooo out of the loop with newbies.  I want to take a minute to say hello to the BEST PLACE ON EARTH and this place is a safe place to come to gather resources, support and over all general OH greatness.  I see that there are lots of new people on the losers bench and I must say that I am soooo inspired!  You newbies are doing great!  How exciting to start this new journey with this NC OH Family.  So Welcome to our corner of the OH World.   The oldies but GOODIES I see are making tremendous successes and I still stand in awe of each and every one of you.  Simply the Best.  You were my first initial inspiration and will forever be part of my success.  You guys continue to amaze me and I sit here with a full heart and a huge smile as I read the postings of your continued journey.  WOW..  you just rock my socks! I've updated my pictures and I can honestly say that month THREE I discovered I really do like myself now.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new energy and it truly has been a Blessing.  When I see a camera now..I do not run.  I have really enjoyed seeing my results via pictures.  I have a picture of me at one month and then at three months in the same outfit...  boy... that sure was a BIG WOW!   I've started with the hairloss and I'm bummed!  But...this too shall pass.  I've started seeing the bat wings develop from the weightloss of the upper arms.  I hate it...but this too shall pass with a little nip and tuck one day...maybe?   I've truly enjoyed my new fabulous Foubi life and I'm here to stay!!   Have a great weekend everyone and I'll be seeing you again soon!  Promise!! Hi!!  I am a newbie, and I am scheduled for Lap-Band on 3/27 with Dr. Bauman..I see that he is your doctor as well.  Congrats on your success and good luck on your journey.  I had my Pre-Op yesterday and I really am pleased with Dr. Bauman, if you have any advice please share...

hey newbie!!    BOY...  what can I possibly say about Dr. B?  hmmmmm...   He is INCREDIBLE!!!   Now his personality take an adjustment or two (hundred) to get used to, but he is such a great surgeon.  If you can just take it with a grain of salt and hold his advice very close to your heart...you will succeed.  He is a no nonsense doctor and tells it like it is.  I was fused at a couple weeks ago for not getting in my exercise like I should be.  Now i could have lied about what I was(n't) doing..but I have come to realize this is MY JOURNEY...no one else is responsible but myself.  He wasn't thrilled with my lack of exercise (me either!)...and he made me feel incredibly guilty!  GOOD FOR HIM!  So...just know that he will expect greatness from and for you!   Congrats on making this new journey a reality.  You will be soon on your way to the NC losers bench.   Connie

Hi Connie,  You look fab!  I know what you mean, I've been so busy running around I haven't been able to keep up with OH either!  I'm hoping I'm back on track now though, because I really missed it.  It helps to have the day to day discussions.  They keep everything fresh in my mind!.

I miss the communication too.  Its so important to have this support.  I love it!!  Glad to see you back too....  Lets keep each other in line!  LOL Have a great "rest of" the weekend! Connie
