CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!  I know you are so excited.  My husband is in the NG also and will be at annual training.  Good luck with everything and keep us posted.  It won't be long and you'll be on the loser's bench too

Maybe your husband will see my husband!  I love the NG but this time they are stepping on my toes!! LOL.  It just meant pushing my surgery off for two weeks.  I'll live!!

  Yahoo!  I know getting that approval feels like you've conquered the world!  I am so happy for you.  Being recently post-op (4/7), I know the advice and support of those who have been on this path a little longer is invaluable. Let us know if there is any thing we can do to help....even if it is just to listen.  I think all of us had fears and concerns and excitement all at the same time. That is normal. Just know you have people rootin' for you!

Thank you all for your support.  I am very glad I found this sight.  This is where I also found Dr. B.  I read what everyone had to say about their doctors.  So...Dr. B it was!!   A little funny side thought.  My father who lives in California calls me.  I told him in December I was making plans to have gastric bypass.  He was very supportive.  Well, he didn't call me for 3 months.  He then calls me and told me he thought I was dead.  He thought I had the surgery in December and since I didn't call him on how it went so he thought my husband had my funeral and didn't invite him.  How crazy is that????   Anyways.  I am still excited, and I have started walking a mile a day.  Got to get in practice!!! Walk Walk Walk Sip Sip Sip Oh Its hard to wait!!!
