Back from Preop

First of all, thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts. It means more than you know, and I treasure each of you!
I had lost 8lbs, so my surgery is still on!!!
However, my surgeon thought it was May 13th and the hospital had May 5th.....but I was scheduled for May 6th. I think it was all straightened out. It was kind of funny. My hubby said, "Well, we will show up on May 6th and hope everyone else does too." lolMy surgeon did ask me to lose at least a couple more pounds by surgery. He said he would cancel if I went back to my old ways here at the end. I have been exercising for 30 minutes a day and he let me know that I should be doing 60 minutes, so I am going to start that tomorrow. I will talk to you all soon!
((((JamieLynn)))),
I'm so glad to hear that all went well. You never will go back to your 'old ways' from here on out. It's a different, more fulfilling life that you are and will be leading. Congratulations on your weight loss to date.
Wishing you continued success.
Hugs,
Barb

Thanks for sharing about your pre-op appointment. It really helps us that are getting ready for theirs to know what to expect. My pre-op appointment is in two weeks. I too am only exercising 30 minutes a day. I'll bump it up a notch! Good Luck on your surgery date. I hope you get the earlier one! Gretch
WoooHoooo! May 6th is almost here girl! How exciting for you. :D
My surgeon put me on High Protien Slim Fast for 2 weeks prior to surgery. Remember that high vitamin meal replacement might help you to continue to shed the extra pounds prior to surgery. You wont have to worry about the weight regain once you discontinue use like you would normally. Your tool will be in place before you know it!!
