Update: Scheduled for colon cancer surgery
My husband had colorectal cancer in 2005, had radiation and chemo, then surgery to remove the part of the colon and his rectum and had to have a colostomy. Dr. Chapman did all 4 of Ronnie's surgeries related to his cancer so we're like family now.
Another thing Dr. Chapman said was that the surgery will be much easier on him and me (recovery) since I have lost so much weight! , A weird little WOW, but I'll take them any way I can get them.
So that's about it right now. Add me to your prayer lists! God will not put more on us than we can handle!
Have a wonderful day! Alice H:260 G: 135 C:145 L: 131 BMI: 26 H: 5' 2 1/2"

Alice, You and your family are on my Church's prayer list and in my personal prayers! I have had 3 abdominal surgeries since my WLS and seems each one has been easier. The docs seem to think it's because of my WLS that I heal faster and don't have as much pain afterwards. Anyway, keep us posted on the outcome... Have a wonderful day/weekend!!! Sheryl
Hi Alice,
You have been on my mind and in my prayers. I'm glad to hear that you have your surgery scheduled with a Dr you feel so comfortable with and confident of ... That's so very important.
I'm sure that as your surgeon said, you will do so much better since you are so very much healthier now with the significant weight loss.
Please continue to keep us posted.
All the best,
Barb
