Is this how your psych evaluation worked?
My test was free ( my work has a employee assistant program ) the doctor used a note saying only - Allison is ready for gastric by pass...took an hour now of course I was a self pay so I did not have as many hoops to jump .
I went into the hospital the morning of surgery thinking I would need to pay up front- but no they said they would bill me so about 4 weeks after surgery I received a bill for the lovely amount of $17,000 - since I was paying cash they gave me a 25 percent discount.. the surgeron wanted his money up front so I payed him 2 weeks before surgery $ 8,400 .... so really it can be much worst . I am so thanfull I had the money in my retirement account . so now I make payments back to myself and yes I am poor as a church mouse BUT much more HAPPY since losing all that horrible weight.
