Dumping?

Chicken salad and tuna salad made me really sick early on. Pasta still doesn't agree with me. I don't eat bread enough to know if it makes me sick. I think mayonaise was the culprit in the chicken and tuna salad so I avoid it. Sugar doesn't seem to be a big problem for me. Like everyone else has said trial and error is the only way you will know for sure.

I'm 8 weeks out and the things that make me dump depend on the day....  I can eat a little tuna today and tomorrow I'll think my chest is caving in after only a bite.   I haven't had any trouble with dairy or cooked veggies...  I absolutely can not tolerate chicken though...  the best advice I've heard is to just take a small bite and wait 5 minutes to see how your body reacts... if you can't handle it don't eat it and if you want try it again in two weeks..  that's been the golden rule for me thus far and I've only been sick twice!! (ok am I jinxing myself??)

I have been very lucky not to dump, so far!!! My nutritionist told me that you must eat protein first, before carbs/sugar and you should be fine!!  If you try to eat sugar or carbs without protein then chances are you will get sick!!  So every first bite needs to be protein :) Good Luck to ya!!
