It's almost here.....my surgery is Monday!!!
My advice?
When you think about ditching the surgery (and many do), just remember that you'll be glad you had the surgery in the end.
When you wake up wondering "WTF did I do to myself?" (and you probably will), remember that it does get better.
And walkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalk and walk. I mean, as soon as possible, as much as possible, etc.

Hi Lisa,
I'm just delighted for you. Honestly, I think that you are ready. It's more of a head issue than anything else and you are doing all of the things you need to do to take care of yourself. It's normal to get nervous. This is a huge change, but it will be a good one.
If you don't have an angel and want one, please let us know. We'll all be looking forward to hearing of your progress.
Wishing you a smooth, gentle journey,
Barb
