Job market & rental housing in NC?
Hey Peach,
I thought I saw a familiar avatar here! PM coming you way! I'd love to help you out in any way I can, too! You know I'd love to have another DSer locally to help represent at the local meetings (if you felt so inclined...)
And I'm a born 'n' bred NC girl. Obviously, I love it here. But be prepared - the humidity is just as bad here as it is back home in Georgia. It hasn't changed since you left the South.

Hey !! I live in the Greenville area(have all my life ). I love it here. Depending on which beach i want to go to,i can get there in 1-2 hrs. Raleigh is 85 minutes (yup i timed it), and i can get to Boone(mtns) in 4-4 1/2 hrs ( depending on traffic on I40).
If you have children, we have great sports programs within the school system. They are always winning state shampionships in football, baseball, volleyball & softball.
The town i live in is Simpson, which is a few miles from Greenville. I just love it here. And nothing beats an ECU football game.
I also have a realtor friend who would be able to answer any additional questions about this area. (im not trying to solicit for her). im just saying she could answer your questions about the market.
